School Boiler house upgrade.

Contract Duration: 2-3 Weeks

The School's existing boilers, plant and control panel had reached the end of serviceable life.

The existing boilers were Decommissioned at the end of the 2019 summer term and following removal of asbestos by specialist contractors, The existing plant, controls and wiring systems were removed. A temporary Immersion heater had been previously installed to maintain Hot Water for the kitchen on the return after the summer holidays should there be any issues when commissioning the system. 

A new Steel Wire Armoured Cable was installed to supply the replacement Control Panel and metal trunking wiring system routed around the perimeter of the boiler house to control a pair of Worcester Bosch GB162 50kW Commercial boilers, New Twin Heating Pumps and Motorised Valves for both HTG & DHW and a replacement DHW Cylinder with standby Immersion heater. 

The works progressed well thanks to having worked previously on a number of similar contracts with The contract management: CP Associates, The mechanical engineer: CD Northage & Co Ltd, and The Control Panel Specialist: Green Control Systems.
